“A Church of the Spirit, for the People with the Spirit”

We are an indigenous Roho (Holy Spirit) church, born from a series of prophetic revelations in the early 20th century. Our faith is not merely a doctrine, but a direct, living encounter with the Holy Spirit (Roho).

Our Motto

‘Roho en Singruok, Roho ok en din’

Our Slogan

‘Singruok Tek’ (Sacrifice is strenuous)

Our Guiding Philosophy

We believe that faith is not merely a doctrine to be learned, but a direct, living encounter with the Holy Spirit (Roho). Our purpose is to create a sacred space where this encounter through Roho possession, prophecy, and healing is the normative experience of every believer.

Our Core Values

Spirit-Centeredness

We believe the Holy Spirit (Roho) is the ultimate source of revelation, authority, and power in our lives and worship.

Divine Healing

We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit (Roho) to heal the sick, cast out evil, and restore the broken.

Moral Purity

We adhere to a life of holiness, marked by strict moral codes, Sabbath observance, and prayer/fasting.

Remembrance

We sanctify our history through the annual commemoration of the Musanda events and the honoring of our sacred symbols.

Heritage

We are dedicated to preserving and passing down the oral histories, hymns, and traditions of our founders.

Our Vision: A Prophecy Being Fulfilled

We are working to see the prophecies of our founders fulfilled. A key part of this vision is the construction of a new Archcathedral at Ruwe with twelve doors, as prophesied by our founder, Lawi Obonyo. This, along with our other objectives, aims to build a self-reliant, educated, and spiritually vibrant community that honors God.
