Members Data Policy
“A Church of the Spirit, for the People with the Spirit”
The collection and use of member's personal information by the Ruwe Holy Ghost Church EA is for administrative purposes only. Contact details, including email, will be used strictly for communication related to church matters such as updates on financial contributions (like "Mich Higa", "Pesa Maua", and others) and information about RHGCEA events, activities, and Newsletters. All members data are safe and secure. Note that only admin can register members and each member get contacted either directly or through their respective church leaders to get their consent and personal information for registration. Upon successful registration, a welcome email and password reset email get sent to that member's email.
1. Hierarchical Data Administration
To accurately organize our vast congregation traversing numerous Dioceses, Pastorates, Local Churches, and Fellowships, centralized data management is absolutely essential. The data we log powers the organizational capabilities of the Archbishopric, Deans, and Local Treasurers, fulfilling our vision of institutional self-reliance.
2. The Registration Workflow
Unlike open digital signups, membership into the RHGCEA digital registry is deliberately gated to preserve integrity. A person must be vetted by a local Pastorate or Church leader. Only credentialed administrative users have the backend clearance required to officially populate a new member's profile into the ecosystem. This closed-loop system is foundational to minimizing digital fraud and confirming the spiritual legitimacy of our rosters.
3. Securing Your Identity
Our Data Policy is unwavering: the congregation's demographic, financial, and contact data are classified and protected through structural isolation inside our database architecture. Passwords are cryptographically hashed. Financial inputs (such as your Pesa Maua and Mich Higa balances) are visible only to you via your secure portal and the designated treasurers managing those specific accounts.
4. Member Rights and Accessibility
Though data entry is administratively controlled, every registered member reserves the divine right to truth and accuracy. Members may inspect their data via the portal, update personal avenues of communication, or raise formal requests to local administrators to amend errors inside the main registry.
